TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY

“Always remember, every action of yours will setup an example. Either a good example or a bad one. People might not appreciate us with your good performance but whenever u will get off the track, fingers will be pointed at us”. These were the words of my Daddy while seeing me off for Lahore back in 2012. The basic concept of the 'King’s Speech' was that I should take the responsibility not only for my own self but also for the sake of my parents’ respect.
Beside working (first as a House Officer and now as a Medical Officer) I have been using Twitter as a political worker a lot, especially after the people of my interest started following me back. There is much in the social media for one to learn. One of the interesting things that I learnt was a word “Troll”.  As an internet slang the word means, someone who likes to mess with the people and makes them angry just for kicks. I am defining it because many people use the word without realizing what it means. I remember how Mr. Alvi once addressed his own workers as “trolls” (laugh out loudly)!
These trolls and such trolling is mostly associated with one particular party in Pakistan. As a result of which the party graph has dropped markedly within the sophisticated circles. Many political leaders, workers, government institutes and even media persons have remain the victims of trolling and are still being targeted. A political party leader is also like a father of a family. With such behavior of the trolls, character of the head is always at stake. The trend is not associated with one particular party. The feature is actually behaving like a communicable disease and it is spreading widely. But just hold on! Things just don’t end at trolling on the social media. As every party leader, parliamentarian or  minister is representing his party(family), he is actually reflecting the teachings of the party head(father).
Consider what is happening in Thar! If the wheat bags are being distributed or the cattle are being vaccinated, credit goes to the Sindh Government. But, if some sort of lavish food is being served it’s the fault of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari! Actually people expect a lot from PPP, because its the only federal, liberal and pro-poor party in the country, but such actions are at odds with their manifesto.
Therefore, PPP leaders should reconsider as this is bringing disrepute to Bilawal’s politics. Although he is young but he is an eager beaver. He has the legacy to carry on 'to serve the poor'. That “Roti, Kapra aur Makan” wont be practical if the team is relaxed.
For that reason, party ministers and leaders(only those who are less serious) should reassess their attitude and take the responsibility.
